Ingredients: - 100 gms ghee
- 6 cloves (laung / lavang)
- cinnamon (dalchini)
- 3 cardamoms
- 1 tsp caraway seeds (shahjeera)
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
- 50 gms chopped onions
- 200 gms green peas
- 400 gms long grained rice (basmati)
- salt to taste
- For garnish: chopped coriander (dhania)
Preparetion Method: - Heat the ghee in a pressure cooker.
- Add the cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, shahjeera and ginger-garlic paste saute it for few minutes on a slow flame.
- Add the onions and fry till they turns brown, add the green peas and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the basmati rice, 600 ml water or coconut milk and salt put the lid and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
- Serve hot garnish with coriander.
