Ghee rice



Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Basmati Rice
  • ¼ cup Ghee
  • Milk exreacted from 1/2 a Coconut
  • 2 Cup Onions thinly sliced
  • 1 small Chinnamon broke into pieces
  • 1/4 tsp Cloves
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 5-6 Cardamom crushed
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • Roasted Cashews and Raisins
  • Salt for taste
Preparetion Method:
  • Wash the rice throughly and drain the water.
  • Keep a thick bottomed pan on the stove and add ghee.
  • Add onions, cinnamon, bay leaves,cloves, ginger garlic paste and cardamom and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • After that add the rice which is kept aside and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • Once done remove ingredients to a pressure cooker and coconut milk, water and salt and pressure cook till the rice is done.
  • Mix roasted cashews and raisins and leave aside for 15 minutes. Serve warm.
